On the rugby pitch of course you have to be balanced on your feet, which helps in a fast paced kitchen when you’re moving constantly.   Have you seen It’s a Sin yet? I have, I’m so proud to be a part of it, it’s just extraordinary. Those young men are just astounding. It’s really powerful television.   Spare Snare has now been going for over thirty years and are considered by many (Including us at Scene Alba) to be one of Scotland’s best bands. They’ve just released a 42 track box set of BBC sessions from 1995 to 2018 and our music editor Hugh Haggerty was lucky enough to have a chat with singer/songwriter Jan Burnett about the set.
